Camera Operator

My primary role is as a Camera Operator for broadcast and live production, working with professional cinema and broadcast camera systems to capture reliable, well-composed images in fast-moving production environments.

I have experience working with systems including Sony Venice, Sony FX cameras and ARRI cinema cameras, and I'm particularly interested in the technical side of camera operation, camera systems and production workflows.

I'm available for broadcast camera operation, live events, music, commercial content and other productions requiring an experienced camera operator in Norwich, Norfolk or elsewhere in the UK.

Film & Television

For film and television, I work as a Camera Trainee and Spark Trainee, continuing to build experience within professional camera and lighting departments.

Working across both departments has given me a broader understanding of how productions operate on set and how camera, lighting and electrical teams work together to create an image.

I'm particularly keen to continue developing my experience within the camera department and lighting department, working alongside experienced crews and building towards larger film and television productions.

Spark & Commercial Production

I also work as a Spark on commercial and advertising productions, combining my technical interest in lighting and filmmaking equipment with practical experience on set.

My professional Spark experience began through commercial work, including a production for Sunderland AFC, where I worked within the lighting department on a high-profile branded production.

Alongside this, I continue to develop my knowledge of lighting, electrical equipment and on-set workflows, while building and experimenting with filmmaking equipment in my own time.

Working with Industry & Artists

Throughout my time in production, I've had the opportunity to work around a variety of brands, musicians, artists, broadcasters and production teams.

My experience includes work involving Sunderland AFC, Wheatus, Bad Manners, Foo Fighters UK and Dominik Diamond, as well as other commercial, music and live productions.

I've also had the opportunity to contribute to work connected with Sony and take part in the Kodak University Challenge, shooting on 16mm film. These experiences have allowed me to work with different production approaches, camera systems and formats while continuing to develop my technical and creative skills.

Filmmaker & Videographer

Alongside working within professional camera and lighting departments, I also work independently as a videographer, taking on projects for businesses, artists, events and individuals.

This gives me the opportunity to take a project from planning through to filming and delivery, while my experience within larger productions gives me an understanding of professional workflows, equipment and working as part of a wider crew.
